We had four pastors of the combined churches participat ing with the Rev. Robert Ward of Union Chapel bringing an appro priate and impressive sermon. The Wakelon High School Band added much to the service with several selections. We thank Mr. Burns and the members of the band for coming. We served hot coffee and bhoco late in the Church Annex, and it was good after standing out for the service so early in the morn ing. The sunrise, the birds singing, the flowers, the dew on the grass, the cool breeze, and the lovely trees all showed the great handi work of God. Our attendance picked up at church and Sunday School and we had lots of visitors on Easter. Arrangement of white flowers were put in the church by the W. H. Winstead family in memory of Mr. Winstead.
